New HealthSherpa Resume Link Now Available!

Great news for agents! Our partners at HealthSherpa have just announced the release of the Resume Link feature, designed to streamline the process when encountering the CMS InvalidAction error.

What is the Resume Link? The Resume Link allows agents to update enrollments even if they aren’t initially associated with the application. Instead of needing a three-way call with the Marketplace Call Center, agents can now share a secure Resume Link with consumers, who can complete ID-proofing and sign in to update their application. This update ensures consumer security while making it easier for agents to assist with policy changes.

How It Works:

  1. Error Encountered: If an agent receives the InvalidAction error, they can now opt to share the Resume Link with the consumer.
  2. Consumer Access: Consumers use this link to sign in, complete ID-proofing, and make the necessary updates.
  3. Seamless Agent Access: Once the consumer completes their part, the agent is associated with the enrollment and can continue servicing it via HealthSherpa.
