Molina Healthcare New Background Check Process

Molina Healthcare is initiating a new background check on all agents who have been appointed with them for 2 years and have active enrollments. Agents will receive a link from Evolve asking to sign the agreement to run the new background check. Once signed, agents will not be asked to sign again as this approval is for the lifetime of their active status with Molina.

IBR has been announced as the background check vendor. IBR will complete a background check on each agent that consists of a nationwide, county of residence, and federal criminal history, as well as a FACIS Level 3 search.

The background check process typically takes less than 72 hours to complete. However, some background checks can take longer due to manual processes on the county and state level.

Molina has stated that agents who fail the background check due to more recent findings, will be notified, and their contract with Molina will be terminated. Agents are given an opportunity to appeal the decision by contacting Molina directly.
