Georgia Receives Approval to Establish a State-based Exchange

The State of Georgia has been granted approval by the Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS) to establish a State-based Exchange (SBE) for Plan Year 2025. Agents and brokers who are licensed and appointed to assist consumers in Georgia will now use Georgia Access, the state’s program for eligible Georgians, to assist consumers shop for and enroll in coverage in the State’s individual health insurance Exchange.
